Who this is for
Owners and staff who update their own website and would like to stop being nervous about it. The person who inherited the site when the last person left, and has been quietly hoping nothing breaks.
Teams who are already using AI tools, officially or otherwise, and want to use them well without pasting the business into a chatbot. And business owners who would rather learn alongside other business owners: groups are welcome.
If what you actually want is for someone else to look after the site, that is monthly maintenance. Plenty of people end up with both: the routine handled, and the confidence to do the everyday work themselves.
What we cover
WordPress
- Pages and posts. Editing, laying out and publishing without breaking the design.
- Images, PDFs and video. Adding them properly, at a sensible size, with the details search engines read.
- Links and menus. Linking pages together and to other sites, and keeping the navigation tidy.
- Your online shop. Products, orders and the everyday running of a WordPress store, if you have one.
- Updates, backups and scans. How to update safely, run a backup and check the site, and when to stop and call someone.
AI tools
- Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT, properly. We believe the desktop apps are where everyone’s work is heading, and we teach them to a world-class standard on real work: drafting, research, spreadsheets and decisions.
- Agent workflows. Handing a whole job to AI, step by step, with you checking the result before it goes anywhere.
- What never goes in. Which information should never be pasted into a public AI tool, and why. The privacy regulator’s own best-practice advice is to keep personal information out of them entirely.
- Checking what comes back. AI will sometimes be wrong with total confidence. You will learn how to catch it.
- A rule people follow. The start of a one-page AI rule for your team, written in plain English.
Cyber security
- On application only. Some cyber security topics we only teach to people we have spoken to first. You can probably guess why. Ask.
How we teach
A good session ends with you doing it, not us.
We teach online, in sessions of one or two hours, on your own site and your own tools. You drive. We sit beside you on the call and step in when it matters. Bring your AI with you: whichever assistant you use comes to the session too.
We generally suggest at least two sessions: the first gets you moving, the second is where it sticks. You will also get the honest version, including where AI is the wrong tool for the job. We use these tools every day, which is exactly why we know where they fail.

Who teaches
People who have taught thousands. Over thirty years our team has taught thousands of people: the first websites, cyber security for career changers, and AI for government teams behind closed doors.
Luke Elin, who leads Ey3, has taught cyber security at the Institute of Data and builds AI systems, including generative AI engineering for the Queensland Department of Primary Industries. Groups are taught by Luke and Michelle together.
We are also honest about our own mistakes with AI. We published sixteen articles after only skimming them, and wrote about it. It is why checking what comes back is part of every session.
